Module 3:

Microsoft Outlook

Microsoft Outlook is a personal information manager and email application developed by Microsoft. It is a part of the Microsoft Office suite of applications, but it can also be purchased as a standalone program.

Outlook is primarily used for managing email, but it also includes features for managing contacts, tasks, calendars, and notes. It allows users to send and receive email messages, manage multiple email accounts, organize messages using folders, and set up rules to automatically sort and filter incoming messages.

Outlook also includes a calendar feature that allows users to schedule appointments, meetings, and events, and set reminders for upcoming events. Users can also create to-do lists and tasks within Outlook and set reminders to complete them.

Outlook is widely used in business environments, as it integrates with other Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, allowing users to easily share files and collaborate with colleagues. It also integrates with Microsoft Teams, allowing users to schedule meetings and join video conferences directly from within Outlook.

In addition to the desktop application, Outlook is also available as a web application and mobile app, allowing users to access their email, contacts, and calendar from anywhere.
